SteamWorld Build is a new city / dungeon builder game from The Station. It is another production in the popular SteamWorld universe, which pictures a planet after a cataclysm and colonized by sentient robots. While your main task is to build a settlement and mine resources, you will have to deal with obstacles from time to time. One of those are hostile creatures and among them there is a creeper. We will tell you how to defeat this opponent.

How to Defeat Creeper in SteamWorld Build

When you go deeper into the mine, you will encounter various opponents. Some of them are quite harmless, some can eat your miners, and some will successfully stop your progress and building tunnels. Creeper falls into the latter category. It is a monster / plant which takes part of the floor and obstructs the surrounding.

The creature can be removed easily thanks to the item called Flamethrower. If you equip guards with it, they will be able to burn the opponent, and your miners will be able to proceed with their work.

To find Flamethrower, you must search among the chests hidden on the floor. The good news is that you may take items from one floor to another. So, you can start with Flamethrower on the lower level. It is not only effective against creepers but also regular opponents.
