Death Must Die PC

Death Must Die is an arena survival production that combines elements of roguelike, action RPG and bullet hell shooter. Clearly inspired by the best-selling Vampire Survivors, this title was developed by independent studio Realm Archive.

The plot of

Death Must Die takes us on a journey to a fantastic world. During the game we play as heroes who venture to the so-called High Mount to cross the gates of the Kingdom of Death and put an end to its reign. Unlike similar daredevils who have attempted this in the past, our heroes can count on the help of the pantheon.

During the course of the game, we must do everything in our power to come face to face with Death and twist her by the head. In addition, as we progress, we learn more and more about the reasons why the gods decided to turn against one of their own, as well as learn about the history of each of the protagonists.

Mechanics

In Death Must Die, the action is viewed from a bird's eye view. The adventure leads us through a variety of atmospheric locations, which are the arenas of fierce battles. The mainstay of the gameplay are incredibly dynamic clashes with hundreds of opponents at once. Apart from rank-and-file opponents, whose strength lies in their sheer size, we face much more powerful bosses, guarding access to the next circles of the Underworld.

On the battlefield, we must be constantly on the move (not to let ourselves get cornered), as well as make use of the strengths of individual characters. The protagonists are differentiated in terms of fighting style, preferred weaponry (both small arms and ranged weapons are at our disposal) and skills.

As we progress, we develop characters and unlock new heroes, as well as acquire more powerful equipment. An interesting solution has been implemented in the game, through which we can increase our chances of finding unique, powerful items, at the expense of strengthening the adversaries. In addition, over time we gain access to more divine blessings, thanks to which our combat potential grows.

Technical issues

Death Must Die has simple, but at the same time clear graphics made in pixel art technique. In this respect, the described production does not deviate from what we are accustomed to most arena survival type positions.
